Happy Earth Day!
I went looking for frogs.
I helped Daddy shovel some bark mulch.
And I had a lot of fun on my playground. (I am still wearing my gardening gloves from Nai Nai here.)

I Love Animals
I also make sure they are well fed. Here my animals are having a 'peekit' (picnic) with pizza and milk. Yum!
I love my animals.

Yesterday Was A Good Day
Yesterday was so nice that I ran around and played with bubbles.
The bubbles were so much fun I just couldn't put my 'jazz hands' away.
The slide was pretty darn cool, too.

Observations Of The Day
Today I was looking for signs of nature. I saw rabbit scat which I call 'bunny poop'. I told Mommy it looks like tiny rocks. I also saw a big pile of cow manure and I said to Mommy, "Maybe it was running and had a really big tooter and left." For those of you who don't know, a 'tooter' is what I call passing gas. Since it was a day for observing nature I felt it was appropriate to the conversation.
Now for a topic change, here is a video of me singing "Let's Go Fly a Kite."

Maple Syrup
Maple-syrup maker Ryan Tilley braves a forest aflame with exploded maple to tap his trees. A downturn in the maple syrup market is having harmful side effects for trees in northern New England. For the first time in decades, the maples are remaining untapped, with sometimes-dangerous results. Triggered by the low-carb craze, the drop in maple syrup consumption is causing a serious problem for New England's maple-tree industry: exploding maple trees.
"An untapped tree is a time bomb ready to go off... The trees explode like gushers, causing injuries and sometimes death. If untended, quiet stands of Nature's sweeteners can turn into spindly demons of destruction. The Vermont Health Board reports 87 fatalities, 140 maimings, and a dozen decapitations, caused by sap-build-up explosions this year."
So, I propose everyone should have pancakes for dinner tonight. Mmmm. I love pancakes. Oh, I almost forgot... Happy April Fools!
